Site News: I switched from blogspot to wordpress yesterday. Still getting settled with it. I find that it's easier to archive the comic, plus I can put up future comics and not have them post until the correct day, which is nice. I'm going to continue running the comics here as well. I'll make a note when I decide to pull that and run them exclusively my site.

On Mutt, I hope everyone is enjoying him as much as I am. He'll be leaving us soon, but I'm sure he'll pop back up somewhere down the line, just for giggles.

New Beginnings

Thu Nov 1, 2007, 3:33 PM
Welcome to Fast Food Junkies! the Comic Blog. It's a new month, and with it comes new beginnings. I've attempted to make FFJ! apart of my everyday life several times over the last three years. For one reason or another (mostly due to laziness) I've failed every time. Some stretches have lasted days, others weeks. My longest run on this comic was a month and a half, and I was proud of it. This time, however, I aim to beat that mark by going about this comic in a professional a manner as possible -- setting an update schedule that's realistic, and treating it as a part-time job. Because I will be focusing a lot on the growth of this project over the course of what I hope are many many moons, don't always expect the same gag strips about the same stuff featuring the same characters. I plan to mix it up, cover all sorts of topics, and introduce a plethora of characters that hopefully we'll all enjoy enough to visit again and again.

As of today, the update schedule for FFJ! the Comic Blog is Monday-Thursday. The time of the updates will vary, as I do have a regular job, a wife, and other responsibilities outside of my cartooning. If I happen to miss a day, I will make that day up with a special post on any of the three off days.

I will continue to share more information about this comic and myself as the comics are posted. To see more of my work, you can head over to my DeviantArt Profile and check out my gallery. [link]

Thanks for reading,
Junior Bruce

PS: This message was posted on the comic's main blog site [link] I do not plan to post every original comic here, but rather use this as my "behind the scenes / FFJ! Sketchbook" section. So if this comic seems like something you'd be interested in, visit the main blog site and favorite it. Thanks.
